What do you need to do so AI recommends your website too?
These eight steps help set you up so ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, or Gemini cite your site, not your competitor’s. This is exactly what we build, in a measurable way.
AI · 01
Let AI crawlers in
Do not block GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended in your robots.txt file, and provide server-rendered HTML too. If something is rendered only by JavaScript, AI often cannot see it.
AI · 02
Give a short, citable answer
After every important question, the first 2–3 sentences should be the ready-made answer: definition, number, price, deadline. AI highlights short paragraphs that are understandable on their own.
AI · 03
Build a question-based structure
H2/H3 headings with real questions, clear sections, lists, and comparison tables, so the model can easily extract the relevant details.
AI · 04
Make it easy for machines to interpret too (schema)
Organization, Service, FAQPage, Article, Breadcrumb, and Review JSON-LD. This helps clearly show who you are, what you offer, and exactly which question you answer.
AI · 05
Be an easy-to-identify company
Use the same company name, address, phone number, and service description everywhere: on your website, Google Business Profile, directories, and social profiles. Inconsistency makes AI uncertain.
AI · 06
Support it with facts
Numbers, prices, case studies, your own data, date of update, and a named author with a professional background (E-E-A-T). AI cites provable content, not good-sounding adjectives.
AI · 07
Get external mentions
Professional portals, press coverage, partner sites, reviews, and forums. Models use these to learn who is worth recommending in a given market.
AI · 08
Measure and improve monthly
20–50 real questions for your market, monthly checks on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews, then new content for the missing answers.
